After the video was posted online, the internet was divided. Some of the users said that the bird “must be a reincarnated spirit of patriotism” and claimed it was “divine intervention”. While one user said, “Missing context: Crow sitting on coconut leaf behind flagpost. Didn’t affect the opening of the flag at all. Viewing at 0.25x speed reveals it clearly.”
However, a follow-up video dismissed the bird’s magical intervention and stated that the confusion was caused by the camera angle.
Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair shared a video from another angle showing how the bird did not fly near the flag but sat on a coconut tree behind the flag and had nothing to do with the unveiling.
