Donald Trump continues his series of verbal attacks on Kamala Harris, says ‘I am much better looking..’
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump went on a personal attack on US Vice President Kamala Harris at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, hitting out at her physical appearance and intelligence.
“I’m much better looking than that,” Trump told supporters, according to The Hill. Donald Trump said, ‘I’m a better-looking person than an orange.
The former president noted the cover of Time magazine featuring Harris, for which a sketch had to be created because pictures of Kamala Harris did not work well. Further labeling Harris as a “radical liberal”. Trump questioned Harris’ intelligence.
The “looks better than her (Kamala Harris)” comment is one of only a few in a series of Donald Trump attacks on his opponent. Speaking about Kamala Harris’s last-minute entry in the presidential race, Trump quipped that she Suddenly found himself competing with Harris.
“What happened to Biden? I was running against Biden and now I’m running against somebody else. I said, Harris who am I running against? I said, ‘Who’s Harris?’ Trump asked mockingly.
Despite warnings from his team and advisers, the former president continued to use unflattering nicknames for Harris, including “Kamabla,” “Lin’ Orange,” and “Laffin’ Orange.”
Donald Trump has stepped up his aggressive rhetoric since polling Harris in politically important districts like Pennsylvania, where he was assassinated.
Pennsylvania will play a key role
Pennsylvania will play a key role in determining the final outcome of the US election. Kamala Harris has the words Go to Pennsylvania August 18, i.e. Sunday, before heading to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The convention, which begins Monday, will feature keynote addresses from party leaders such as Biden and former President Barack Obama. Harris will make a speech Thursday evening to formally accept the party’s nomination.
