Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2024: Apply for 320 Navik (GD) & Yantrik Posts

The Indian Coast Guard has announced a recruitment notification inviting applications for 320 positions of Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik. These vacancies are for the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

Details of Vacancies:

  1. Navik (General Duty)
    • Number of Posts: 260
    • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12th with Mathematics and Physics from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
  2. Yantrik
    • Number of Posts: 60
    • Educational Qualification:
      • Option 1: Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a board recognized by COBSE and have a Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 3 or 4 years duration approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
      • Option 2: Candidates must have passed Class 10th & Class 12th from a board recognized by COBSE, and have a Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 2 or 3 years duration approved by AICTE.

Other Criteria:

  • Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 22 years as on the closing date of application (born between 01 Mar 2003 to 28 Feb 2007).
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates.

Examination Fee:

  • UR/OBC candidates: Rs. 300/-
  • SC/ST candidates: Nil
  • Mode of Payment: Net banking, Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card, UPI.
